Normal Variant

    Short-Windup Thrust

        Fast and sudden, meant to catch players off guard.

        Counter: Hug the monster closely and circle-strafe to your right to dodge effectively.

    Long-Windup Lunging Thrust

        Counter: Same as above, quickly circle around to your right.

    Diagonal Slash (Low Left to High Right)

        A powerful slash that can be deceptive in its reach.

        Counter: Crouch and duck to the left (from the monster's POV) to slip under the blade.

    Shield Bash Counterattack

        Triggered only if you hit the monster's shield.

        Counter: Backstep after the shield hit and wait for the bash to whiff, then punish.

Every hit from this enemy applies Frostbite, a chilling debuff that slows your movement and attack speed. Prolonged exposure to multiple frostbitten enemies can quickly overwhelm even well-equipped players, making it crucial to avoid damage at all costs.

Elite Variant

The Elite Frost Skeleton Guardsman is everything the normal version is, only more dangerous. Key upgrades include:

    Increased Damage Output

    Faster Action Speed

    Substantially Higher Health Pool

This version demands quicker reactions and better spacing. If you're farming for elite-tier Dark and Darker Items or looking to gather Dark and Darker Gold through vendor selling and trading, elite enemies like this are often worth the challenge.

Nightmare Variant

The Nightmare Frost Skeleton Guardsman adds terrifying new elements to its already deadly kit:

    Electrified Shield

        Hitting the shield reflects damage back onto you.

        Tip: Avoid melee strikes against the shield, opt for flanks or ranged attacks.

    Vertical Slash + Lunging Thrust Combo

        A two-step combo: The vertical slash can be spaced, but the lunging thrust requires quick reaction.

        Counter: Step back to avoid the first attack, then quickly circle-strafe to your right to dodge the follow-up thrust.
