When developing a depth chart, consider all the key attributes and performance factors that define a player’s suitability for a position. For each position, you should have a starter, one or more backups, and potentially redshirt or reserve players.

Overall Rating: The overall rating is the most straightforward indicator of a player's potential and abilities. Higher-rated players should generally be placed higher on the depth chart.
