What makes it stand out is how versatile it’s become. In close range, SMGs still win if they’re in your face, but the AK4D handles itself well enough if you land your first shots. From 20 to 75 metres, it’s in its sweet spot – able to chew through players holding angles with LMGs or trade with marksman rifles without giving up much. Tap-firing works a treat for long sightlines, and if you need to lay down suppressive fire, you can actually keep it accurate over longer sprays. It’s rare for a single rifle to feel this comfortable switching between aggressive pushes and holding down a lane.
Attachment-wise, you don’t have to grind forever to make it shine. For a flanking build in Conquest, grab a suppressor to stay hidden, a barrel for faster bullet velocity, and a vertical grip to iron out that last bit of kick. A 30-round mag means you can clear multiple enemies before reloading. If you’re locking down longer lanes in Breakthrough, swap to a heavy suppressor, a range-boosting barrel, and a 3x scope; that turns the AK4D into a counter-sniping tool that’s still lethal up close.
