Based on Insider Gaming, "this is still the case with over 100 journalists receiving the chance to attend a behind-the-scenes presentation as well as getting the opportunity to try out the game. It is believed that the embargo for the event as well as hands-on impressions will lift on December 7.
"During the presentation, Rod Fergusson invited all presenters to catch The Game Awards as they'll make some announcements."
Blizzard confirms that Diablo 4 is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely wait until after launch to be able to use them in the game.
The game's director Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable conversation that reimagining sets in a way that works with Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be likely to be available for launch until next year. However, the team is considering including them as part of Live service.
"As we've been working on the game, we thought that we could create sets in a unique manner that is different from what we've observed during Diablo 3. But, we needed some more time to get them into the game in the manner that works in conjunction with Diablo 4, so you won't be seeing sets when you first start on the map," Shely explains. "We consider sets to be cool, and we want to make them look good - which is why we're taking a look in the future for our live-stream service."
"There's a staff legendary in the demo that turns the spell's fireball spell into the triple fireball spell" former game director Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) back in the year 2019. "The one difference could be that you know that a game that is currently in play Diablo 3 gives you bonuses that are a lot more than the thousands. We're attempting to design the game in the moment to be a bit more limited to prevent us from getting us in that exponential power-curve."
